Best Site Ever
So if youve noticed Im MIA
I've been kind of backing away slowly as of late, only popping in every once in awhile, posting even less.
Why? I guess it's not a big surprise - I've been feeling constrained by TC's current ownership. Don't get me wrong, I've loved TC. And I've met AMAZING people here.
But, and this is why I began backing away, I'm not so into the 'ship that I can't see when a storyline is crap. And frankly, what I've been seeing on the screen lately is crap. Manufactured, repetitive, non-angst, stupid little "bones" of happiness tossed to us infrequently.
I don't feel comfortable expressing those emotions on TC. I'm fairly certain I would be slapped down in a major way.
I don't approve of the indiscriminate post deletion and member banning.
And what sent me screaming for the hills is the recent "gifting" slash "hostile takeover" of TC. Not that my opinion matters, but I think it is WRONG, and it cemented my decision that TC has morphed into a publicity machine and nothing else.
Thankfully, I've found a better place to hang.

Who am I
Short answer? The name is Karen. I go by busygirlks on TC, and you may see me around at other Liason boards by the same name. I'm an accountant, but
I don't think I'm too boring. Although, most boring people probably don't think they are either. I've lived all over Maryland, but never
outside the state.
Right now, I live in the DC suburbs (in MD), but far enough into the country that, were you to see my house and land, you would laugh at me for associating it
in any way with DC. There are more cows and Amish buggies than politicians where I live. I tend to prefer it that way.
I live with my wonderful husband of six years, and our four cats. We're close to our hometown, very close to family and generally pretty content.
I write poorly thought-out Liason fanfic...I rarely if ever use an outline...and I have loved Jason and Elizabeth since they hit the screen together in 1999.
Apparantly I have been forcing them on hubby (who was my boyfriend then) for as long, because he remembers the splinter scene.
